These movies keep getting sillier and sillier; and while they may not be my taste in movies anymore, the fact of the matter is at least 1,250,000 watch these creature vs. creature features whenever they premiere on the SyFy Network. Something tells me that Sharktopus vs. Whalewolf won’t be any different when it debuts on July 19.
Directed by Kevin O’Neill (Dinocroc, Dinoshark) and produced by Roger Corman (House of Usher, Piranhaconda) with cinematography from Herman Herrera, the film follows a mad scientist who mixes the genes of a killer whale and a wolf. It creates the Whalewolf and it’s up to Sharktopus to stop it.
Cast members include Casper Van Dien (“Beverly Hills 90210,” “Watch Over Me”), Catherine Oxenberg (“Dynasty”), Akari Endo, Sarodj Bertin, Yasser Michelen, Mario Hernandez and Olga Valdez.
