My slasher streak continues as I check out the sequel to my last reviewJunkbucket.  The new film, the slasher comedy filmed in 2013, is titled Junk Bonds: The Return of Junkbucket.  The first film was very rough but still offered up some laughs along with some likable characters but Lange told me that the sequel was a more polished film.

The poster for the film excited me and knowing that Troma will be distributing the film makes it even more enticing to me.  Thank you Stephen for allowing me to check out all your hard work and sending both films my way for me to check out and review!

**Spoiler Alert**The film takes place sometime after the events in Junkbucket.  Two of the survivors attend a will reading of one of their friends and are given various non-nonsensical items like bongs and t-shirts.  One of them, a beautiful young woman, was able to escape Junkbucket but not for long for he now has an eye for her and wants to cut off her lady parts so she can be his forever.

Junkbucket has now found a home with a family of misfits who are sex addicts, pervs, and maniacs that live a life of castration and junk eating.  Junkbucket and his new “brother” kidnap the young girl for Junk’s birthday.  On route to the birthday bash is a stripper team and their fake gay manager who was paid to ride up and put on a show unaware that they plan on killing them.  Once they arrive all hell breaks lose, wieners and tits go flying, and blood pours by the gallons.**Spoiler Alert**

Junk Bonds: The Return of Junkbucket is an obvious parody with most of the film poking fun or paying homage to the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre.  I like the TCM series but the original TCM is far from my favorite in the series with it almost coming in last if I was to rank them.  I get what the film is trying to do but the film actually bores the shit out of me.  This is something I often catch hell for.  With that being said, Junk Bonds actually brought about some serious humor and actually entertained me.

The acting in this one is more of the same from the first film.  They all show so much heart and dedication just lack experience to offer up more in the scenes.  This one does make up for the cast’s lack of experience by offering up several characters that have some depth to them where the first flick had so many flat characters.

The story for this one is a pecker filled parody of TCM that has a ton of humor tossed in that actually had me laughing.  The story has some hilarious characters and funny situations strung throughout.  Though it was not an original story it did offer up some original angles on a story we have seen so many times before.

Finally, the film does have several on screen kills.  Sadly, most take place off screen which is a really drag considering slasher fans want to see those kills.  The practical effects for those kills are fun as hell and looked great.  The film has a decent amount of gore and more fake dicks than I care to see the rest of my life.  The effects team does a great job and it shows.  Overall, Junk Bonds: The Return of Junkbucket is a campy slasher flick that is full of tits, gore, and peckers.  Lots and lots of peckers.  If you like your slashers on the funny side then check this one out.  It will not disappoint.
