SCREAMFEST presents the Los Angeles Premiere of award-winning horror comedy A TRICKY TREAT
MACABRE FAIRE FILM FESTIVAL honors the film with 4 awards
Hollywood, CA – September 30th, 2015 – A Tricky Treat, a short horror comedy directed by acclaimed Canadian filmmaker Patricia Chica, has been honored with four awards at the Macabre Faire Film Festival showcase in New York. The awards include Best Short Film, Best Director, Best Editor and Best Special FX.

Moreover, America’s largest and longest running horror film festival, Screamfest, will be hosting the Los Angeles premiere of A Tricky Treat at the TLC Chinese Theatre on Wednesday. A Tricky Treat comes fresh off its world premiere to an enthusiastic and packed house at Montreal’s prestigious Fantasia International Film Festival, where it competed as an Official Selection. It then had its American Premiere at DragonCon in Atlanta where it was a finalist for Best Horror Comedy.
