So, when going forward with a new Where Are They Now installment, I had to pick someone who the majority of cinema viewers will have seen on screen, but may have forgotten about already. Let me re-introduce you to Joshua John Miller.

Joshua John Miller was born in December of 1974. He started his career in the entertainment industry at age eight when he booked his first role in a movie, followed by his role as Willie Challis in Halloween III: Season of the Witch (1982). Of course, Halloween fans will remember Willie as the son of Daniel Challis (Tom Atkins) whose fate has been left sort of open ended. Following this role, Joshua booked a number of lead and supporting roles in horror titles such as Near Dark (1987), Class of 1999 (1989) and The Ghost Writer (1990); while slightly stepping out of the genre to appear in horror-comedy Meet the Hollowheads (1989) and fantasy-comedy Teen Witch (1989).

During these years, he also made numerous guest spots on popular television shows including “21 Jump Street,” “Family Ties,” “Growing Pains” and “The Wonder Years.” His last role in the 90’s was in a film he also wrote and directed, drama’s The Mao Game (1999).

So, where is Joshua John Miller now?

As he became an adult, Miller started attending school at Antioch College and Yale University, where I assume he took courses on journalism and film. Following his years at college, Joshua published articles in Harper’s Bazaar and Playboy before returning to the world of horror as Jinky in The Wizard of Gore (2007). Currently, you can find The Final Girls becoming a hit on all VOD platforms, with the movie being one of Miller’s most recent screenplays.
