• 2009 – Writer/director Dan O’Bannon passed away at the age of 63. His writing credits include the screenplays for “Alien,” “Aliens,” “Return of the Livng Dead” (which he also directed) and “Total Recall.”
• 1999 – Warren Ball who played “Caleb” in “The Corpse Grinders,” passed away at the age of 60.
• 1992 – Dana Andrews who starred in the films “Curse of the Demon,” “The Frozen Dead” and “Crack in the World,” passed away at the age of 83.
• 1988 – Director Jerry Hopper, whose credits include the TV series’ “The Addams Family,” “Voyage To the Bottom of the Sea” and “The Time Tunnel,” passed away at the age of 81.
