Vilmos Zsigmond Has Passed Away at 85.

Sources are confirming that Oscar, Emmy and BAFTA award winning cinematographer Vilmos Zsigmond has passed away. He is reported to have passed away at home on Friday, January 1st at 85-years-old.

Vilmos Zsigmond worked on a number of horror, scifi and dark-thrillers including The Sadist (1963), The Time Travelers (1964), The Nasty Rabbit (1964), Psycho A Go-Go (1965), The Name of the Game is Kill (1968), Satan’s Sadists (1969), The Monitors (1969) and Horror of Blood Monsters (1970). He also was the director of photography on iconic hits like Deliverance (1972), Close Encounters of the Third Kind (1977), The Witches of Eastwick (1987) and The Black Dahlia (2006).
