‘BUBBA THE REDNECK WEREWOLF’ Debuts Official Poster!

As corny as this film sounds I’m still a sucker for werewolf films so I thought I would give you guys something to get a little chuckle from. Bubba the Redneck Werewolf is an upcoming film based on the comic series from Mitch Hyman, which I have never seen. The film version is brought to the big screen by Brendan Jackson Rogers. If you enjoyed the recent WolfCop film, then you’ll probably like Bubba as well. There is no official release date for theaters yet, but the filmmakers are saying sometime in 2016. Anyways, be sure to give a look-see at the poster, trailer, and a few stills down below.

Bubba the Redneck Werewolf is written by Stephen Biro and directed by Brendan Jackson Rogers.

The cast includes Fred Lass, Malone Thomas, Gary Norris, Sara Humbert, Chris Stephens, and Gail Fleming.

Plot Synopsis

Pre-Werewolf Bubba (Chris Stephens) is a night shift dogcatcher and local laughingstock who longs to win back the heart of his high school sweetheart, Bobbie Jo (Malone Thomas). But when the Devil (Bubba comic creator Mitch Hyman) comes down to Florida, Bubba signs a deal to make himself a bad-ass, only to wake up the next morning permanently transformed into a Werewolf (Fred Lass). In order to save his town and be the hero he longs to be, Bubba will have to navigate a country crock of malicious bikers, cryptic hobos, gaseous gypsies, and even a zombie hoard – leading up to a climactic duel with the dark prince.
