  • 2005 – Paul A. Partain, starred in the original “The Texas Chain Saw Massacre” as the wheelchair bound “Franklin.” He also appeared in “Race with the Devil” and “Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation.” He passed away at the age of 58 from cancer.
  • 1998 – Jerry Siegel, co-creator of “Superman,” passed away at the age of 83.
  • 1993 – John Steadman, appeared in “The Hills Have Eyes”, “Fade to Black”, “Dark Night of the Scarecrow”, passed away at 83.
  • 1980 – Director Erle C. Kenton, whose films include “The Ghost of Frankenstein,” “Who Done It?” “House of Frankenstein” and “House of Dracula,” passed away at the age of 83.
  • 1959 – Philip Tonge, who appeared in the films “Invisible Invaders,” “Macabre” and “House of Wax,” passed away at the age of 61.
