NIGHTFELL announce additional members for live shows!

Nightfell band

Portland, Oregon’s dark metal tyrants Nightfell have announced they’re expanding their lineup for live shows. Last year, the band released their latest offering entitled, Darkness Evermore and now the band is ready to go live. Read on for more details.

From The Press Release

Following the release of their Darkness Evermore sophomore LP through 20 Buck Spin last year, Portland-based NIGHTFELL has amassed an active live lineup, as the band’s initial shows begin to take form for the months ahead.

Founded by Todd Burdette (Tragedy, His Hero Is Gone, Warcry) and Tim Call (Aldebaran, Mournful Congregation), NIGHTFELL will now expand for live excursions, the duo now welcoming Derek Willman (From Ashes Rise, Hellshock) and VB (ex-Anhedonist) to the live lineup. The band’s first live performance has already been confirmed, with two Northwestern US shows, in Olympia on March 11th, and Portland on March 12th.

The band is also set to take part in the inaugural Migration Festival in Olympia on August 12th, 13th, and 14th. The fest, hosted by 20 Buck Spin and Gilead Media, will see NIGHTFELL joining Auroch, The Body & Krieg, Christian Mistress, Dead To A Dying World, False, Fórn, Full Of Hell, Khemmis, Kowloon Walled City, Krallice, Mutilation Rites, Obsequiae, Pale Chalice, Thou, Vastum, Vhol, and more.

Stand by for additional NIGHTFELL live announcements in the months ahead.

Released in September 2015, NIGHTFELL‘s Darkness Evermore picked up where their Southern Lord-released The Living Ever Mourn debut LPleft off, reaffirming the potency of the band’s morose brand of metal that simply doesn’t even acknowledge genre barriers, the duo organically creating an intense, brooding brand of musical hatred forged of their own volition. Darkness Evermore unloaded more than forty-minutes of demoralizing and incredibly sculpted gloomy metal, recorded and mixed at Red Lantern Studios by Evan “Maus” Mersky, mastered by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege, and bearing cover art by Carl Auge of His Hero Is Gone.
