Than a Mother’s Love”

There’s something super nostalgic about this movie’s current promo poster, so much so that I thought it was worthy of a post here at HorrorSociety. What’s most intriguing to me here, though, is the promise that could be found in Maternal Instincts – the promise that, maybe, we’ll meet a new bat shit crazy motherly villain that can stack up to the likes of Debbie Salt, Margaret White and Pamela Voorhees. We haven’t seen one of those in a while, so I think we’re about due for a good one and of course you’d find it in the realm of indie horror!

Maternal Instincts is reportedly heading into principal photography beginning on March 12, 2016. The film is written, directed and produced by Brad Bruce with co-writer and co-producer Jase Marsiglia and Kale Flores presented by Red 11 Pictures.

The actors and actresses comprised in Maternal Instincts are hereby dubbed The ‘Friends’ of Horror as they’re an extremely happy-go-lucky and talented bunch who have been appearing side by side in a number of scary movies lately. These co-stars include Felissa Rose (Sleepaway Camp), Marv Blauvelt (Snake with a Human Tail), Tiffani Brooke Fest (Circus of the Dead), Charles Chudabala (2 Jennifer) and Kevin Caliber. . Other cast members appearing within include Jared Michael Degado, Michael Wainwright, Bianca Miller and Lola Marue.

“When a womanizer decides the best way to score his latest conquest (a sexy, single mother played by horror icon Felissa Rose) is to roofie her, he’s horrified when she’s accidentally overdosed. Enlisting the aid of his shady friends to help him dispose of his fatal mistake, they all learn quickly that she may not be dead… nor everything she appears to be.”

I’m sure there will be any updates to come in the very near future, but until then make sure to “like” Maternal Instincts on Facebook here: https://www.facebook.com/Maternalinstinctshorrormovie/.
