I’m really digging it that we’re getting a new short film from inside the world of Luchagore Productions around every major holiday. Gigi Saul Guerrero, Raynor Shima, Luke Bramley and everyone else involved in the company have successfully crafted a world that is original and frightful and one that has a unique and easily identifiable style. Rumor has it there’s big things in store for Guerrero, so sit back and enjoy this Easter short until the news breaks. I guarantee you’ve never seen the Easter Bunny like this before!
Luchagore is currently joining forces with another horror heavyweight to spread the word about A Luchagore Easter, the new two minute short film that hit the net today. Eli Roth and Crypt TV are exclusively hosting the video to give it that extra push. A Luchagore Easter is bound to become one of the most popular shorts on Crypt TV, especially when horror fans get a look at just how the Lucha-Bunny creates his eggs every fourth Sunday in March.
Guerrero says about the new short, “There’s a Sunday in Spring full of wonder and magic, but we tell a story that can seem quite tragic. The children all search for the Easter Bunny’s eggs, but they would be sickened, if they knew how they were made.” It’s almost got a nostalgic Christmas rhyme vibe to it, but I think even Santa and Krampus would be afraid to go toe to toe with this Easter Bunny!
