In the new feature that I’m starting called simply: From the Grave, I will be digging up bands, album’s, songs from metal bands that I have and still love from days gone past or more specifically, material from the eighties and nineties. These are bands that were once mighty or perhaps one-hit-wonders that may have gone unnoticed by today’s youth. These band’s need to see the light of day once again and that’s where I come in. For the inaugural offering of From the Grave, I’d like to feature a Canadian thrash metal group known as Infernal Majesty. Not to be confused with HIM (His Infernal Majesty) which is a separate band.
The band formed in 1986 and their debut album, None Shall Defy in 1987. The band is still active today but their initial offering was one of my fav’s from the 80’s and the track “None Shall Defy” is a thrash metal classic.
