I love the new high resolution poster I received for Maternal Instincts, but that’s not all there is to see in this post. The upcoming horror short film from Red 11 Pictures and director Brad Bruce has already finished principal photography and is currently in the middle of post-production. You know what that means? It’s time to unveil the first teaser trailer and Mr. Bruce was generous enough to provide Horror Society with the exclusive content.
Also produced by Brad and written by Jason Marsiglia, Maternal Instincts will follow a womanizer who decides the best way to score his latest conquest – a sexy single mother played by one of horror’s biggest icons – is to roofie her. Later, he’s horrified to discover that she accidentally overdosed and died. Enlisting the aid of his shady friends to help him dispose of the body, they all learn too quickly that she may not be dead after all… nor is she everything she appears to be.
Maternal Instincts stars icon Felissa Rose, who genre buffs will instantly recognize for her role in Sleepaway Camp. She is joined on screen by indie horror favorites Marv Blauvelt (Snake with a Human Tail), Kevin Calibor (“Super-Girl”), Chad Chudabala (2 Jennifer), Jared Degado (300: Rise of an Empire), Tiffani Brooke Fest (Circus of the Dead) and Michael Wainright (Lamb Feed).
