How Much Would You Pay to be a Zombie in Z Nation?

original

While it’s still one of the most popular original television shows on SyFy Network, “Z Nation” lost 47% of its audience between the start of season one and the end of season two. Season one was watched by an average of 1,415,000 viewers per episode while season two was watched by only 877,000 viewers per episode. Considering the show is probably the most expensive to produce on the network, there’s a sizable probability – especially when factoring in story-lines – that season three of “Z Nation” could be its last!

So, here’s your chance to get involved and participate in a single episode of season three… only problem is that it’s going to cost you!

Behind-the-scenes executives of show are offering up a walk on role as a zombie extra through Charity Buzz. Charity Buzz is, obviously, a website that raises money for special causes through actions, with this particular auction being a walk on role as a zombie. It’s a win win situation as everyone involved gets something: The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Greater Los Angeles Chapter gets the money from the highest bid and the person who placed the highest bid gets to appear in an episode of “Z Nation.”

The auction ends in 12 days and the next minimum bid is already at $850! If you’re a super fan of the show, then this might be an experience worth spending your tax return on. Shooting takes place in Spokane, WA and United States residents around that are are encouraged to place a bid in an effort to cut down on travel costs.

“Several years since a zombie virus swept across America, there’s only one person — who goes by just Murphy — known to have survived the infection — the world’s last hope at creating a vaccine. The last functioning viral lab needs blood from him for its antibodies, but the facility is in California and the man is in New York. A ragtag group of strangers works to transport him to the West Coast, but his dark secret remains hidden, which could threaten everyone. Hammond and his second in command, Garnett, lead the group of the living, and computer hacker Citizen Z helps everyone navigate through the zombie-infested terrain. When the group meets a man in Colorado, he offers to take Murphy the rest of the way to California. When nuclear weapons are launched, people head into survival mode and become desperate to find a cure.”
