Creepy!
Usually I’m very hard on found footage films because they don’t pack the punch that they used to. I do have to say, however, that The Cop Cam has a choking amount of suspense and really brought me back to the time when the style of film-making wasn’t so overdone and lazy, much akin to the feeling of dread in The Blair Witch Project or Paranormal Activity.
The Cop Cam is a little over two minutes long, so you’ll watch the short film from Isaac Rodriguez wondering when the shit is going to hit the fan. The Cop Cam also reads like a video clip, something in which you’d see on an episode of “Cops,” no pun intended. Adding extra realism like the cop’s shaking gun from his POV made everything appear in reality and added an extra layer of ‘this could be real.’
Luckily, it’s not, but you can still watch this well done horror film below!
