Despite initial reports that 2015’s Five Nights at Freddy’s 4 would be the last in the franchise, gamers all over the world went crazy yesterday when the trailer for Five Nights at Freddy’s 5: Sister Location went live and garnered over 1,300,000 views in less than 24 hours. And, it makes sense that the video game series would continue, FIVE Nights at Freddy’s FIVE makes sense and the games from creator Scott Cawthon are still pretty fun and lucrative.
Five Nights at Freddy’s 5: Sister location has some major changes in store for players, most of which can be seen in the trailer featured below. Just some of the changes include the shift to an underground bunker location (the sister location?), the animatronics being a lot livelier, a killer clown stalking around to scare you and the return to mainline gaming that was discarded in the previous entry in the video game saga.
The game is expected to be released in Fall 2016 to Android, iOS, Microsoft Windows and Steam. Viva la survival horror!
