  • 1989 – Valentina de Angelis, has appeared in “Malibu Horror Story”, “Camp Hell”, “Bereavement.”
  • 1988 – Cody Horn, starred in “Demonic” and “Occupant.”
  • 1985 – Kendra Wilkinson, is a former Playboy Playmate who has appeared in “Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No!”, “Scary Movie 5”, and “Scary Movie 4.”
  • 1974 – Jason Mewes, plays one half of “Jay & Silent Bob” duo. He has also appeared in “Halloweed”, “Devil’s Tower”, “Zombie Hamlet”, “Vampire Apocalypse”, “Feast”, “Scream 3”, and more.
  • 1964 – Paula Marshall, has appeared in “Full Eclipse”, “Warlock: The Armageddon”, “Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth”, “Superboy (TV Series).”
  • 1953 – Gary Farmer, has appeared in “Sawtooth”, “Route 666”, “Tales from the Crypt: Demon Knight”, “Forever Knight (TV Series)”, “The Dark Wind”, “Friday the 13th (TV Series)”, “The Believers”, and many more.
  • 1928 – Bernie Hamilton who played “Captain Dobey” on the “Starsky & Hutch” TV series and appeared in the film “Scream, Blacula Scream.”
  • 1919 – Acting coach Uta Hagen who appeared in the film “The Other.”
  • 1918 – Producer and co-founder of American International Pictures, Samuel Z. Arkoff. The Z in his name stands for Zachary.
  • 1916 – The king of the disaster movies, producer Irwin Allen.

DIED ON THIS DAY IN HORROR HISTORY

  • 2015 – Rick Ducommun, standup comic who appeared in “Scary Movie”, “Brimstone (TV Series)”, “Ghost in the Machine”, “Gremlins 2: The New Batch”, “Little Monsters” and more. He passed away at the age of 62 from diabetes.
  • 2014 – Carla Laemmle, was the niece of Universal Pictures founder Carl Laemmle. She appeared in the original silent “Phantom of the Opera” and had the very first speaking part in any Universal horror films with her role in the original 1931 “Dracula.” She passed away at 102.
  • 2006 – Hugh Latimer, who appeared in the films “Ghost Ship” (1952) and “The Cosmic Monster,” passed away at the age of 93.
  • 2003 – Academy award winning actor, Gregory Peck, who starred in “The Omen,” “Cape Fear” (1962, and appeared in the 1991 version) and “Marooned, passed away at the age of 87.
