  • 1989 – Lucy Hale, star of the show “Pretty Little Liars (TV Series).” She has also appeared in “Scream 4″ and “Fear Island.”
  • 1987 – Jordan Hayes, has appeared in “House at the End of the Street”, “Exit Humanity”, “Hidden 3D.”
  • 1978 – Diablo Cody who wrote the screenplay for and produced the film “Jennifer’s Body.”
  • 1954 – Will Patton, has starred in countless films and TV shows including “Falling Skies (TV Series)”, “The Fourth Kind”, “The Punisher”, “The Mothman Prophecies”, “The Puppet Masters”, and many more.
  • 1924 – Larry Vincent, who was best known for portraying Los Angeles Horror Host “Seymour, the Master of the Macabre and the Epitome of Evil.” He also appeared in the films “The Incredible Two Headed Transplant,” “The Witchmaster” and “Dr Death: Seeker of Souls.”
  • 1921 – Gene Barry who appeared in “The 27th Day” and “War of the Worlds.” He also appeared as the “grandfather” alongside his “War of the World” co-star, Anne Robinson at the end of the 2005 remake.
  • 1910 – Takeo Murata who wrote the screenplays for “Godzilla” “Godzilla Raids Again” and “Rodan.”

DIED ON THIS DAY IN HORROR HISTORY

  • 2014 – Francis Matthews, appeared in “Do Not Disturb”, “Rasputin: The Mad Monk”, “Dracula: Prince of Darkness”, “Corridors of Blood”, “The Revenge of Frankenstein.” He passed on at the age of 86.
  • 2008 – Alan Wells who appeared in ‘Beginning of the End,” “The Cosmic Man” and “Cape Fear” (1962), passed away at the age of 82.
  • 2004 – Max Rosenberg, who produced the films “Tales From The Crypt” (1972), “Madhouse,” “The Incredible Melting Man” and “Cat People” (1982), passed away at the age of 89.
  • 2002 – Prolific Hollywood filmmaker, Albert Band, father of Charles Band, passed away at the age of 78. He produced and directed such films as “I Bury the Living,” “Mansion of the Doomed” and “Honey I Blew Up the Kid.”
  • 1997 – Richard Jaeckel who appeared in the films “The Green Slime,” “Latitude Zero” and “The Dark,” passed away at the age of 70.
  • 1981 – Jimmy Cross, appeared in “Night Gallery (TV Series)”, “The Munsters (TV Series)”,”Day of the Nightmare”,”The Addams Family (TV Series)”, “The Amazing Colossal Man”, “Earth vs. the Flying Saucers”, and more. He passed away at the age of 74.
