  • 1976 – Heather Mazur, best known to genre fans as playing “Sarah Cooper” in the 1990 Tom Savini remake of “Night of the Living Dead.” She has also appeared in “Medium (TV Series)”, “Pretty Little Liars (TV Series)”, “Bones” and more.
  • 1975 – Joshua Leonard who starred in “The Blair Witch Project” and co-starred in “Hatchet” and “Madhouse.” He had a small part in “Prom Night (2008).
  • 1973 – Louis Leterrier, who directed “The Incredible Hulk” (2008) and the 2010 remake of “Clash of the Titans.”
  • 1967 – Adult film actress and director Tori Welles. She appeared in the films “Ice Cream Man” and “Les Vampyre.”
  • 1966 – Jason Patric (grandson of Jackie Gleason and son of Jason Miller). He starred in the films “The Lost Boys,” “Solarbabies” and “Frankenstein Unbound.”
  • 1960 – Thomas Haden Church, who is best known for playing “Lowell” on the TV show “Wings.” He also co-starred in the films “Tales From the Crypt: Demon Knight” and as “The Sandman” in “Spider-Man 3.”
  • 1927 – Comic artist Wally Wood (who created the “Mars Attacks!” trading card series).
  • 1927 – The late Italian goremeister Lucio Fulci.
  • 1918 – Duncan Lamont who appeared in the films “Frankenstein Created Woman,” “Quatermass and the Pit” and “The Evil of Frankenstein.”
  • 1904 – Ralph Bellamy who appeared in “The Wolf Man” “Ghost of Frankenstein” and “Rosemary’s Baby.”

  • 1989 – John Matuszak, former NFL Football player turned actor. He appeared in “The Goonies”, “Caveman”, “The Ice Pirates”, “Tall Tales & Legends (TV Series)”, “Superboy (TV Series).” He was 38.
  • 1984 – Nobuo Nakagawa who directed the films “The Vampire Moth,” “The Ghost of Kasane” and “Black Cat Mansion,” passed away at the age of 79.
  • 1978 – Robert Williams who appeared in “The Bat” “This Island Earth” and “Revenge of the Creature,” passed away at the age of 73.
  • 1936 – Henry B. Walthall who appeared in the films “London After Midnight,” “The Devil-Doll” and “The Whispering Shadow,” passed away at the age of 58.
