  • 1980 – Eva Green, appeared in “Dark Shadows” 2012 remake and the upcoming “Sin City: A Dame to Kill For” and “300: Rise of an Empire”.
  • 1964 – Ronald D. Moore, is a prolific and well received writer and producer of science fiction film & TV including, “Star Trek: Generations”, “Star Trek: First Contact”, “Roswell (TV Series)”, “Battlestar Galactica (TV Series)”, “Caprica (TV Series)”, “Outlander (TV Series)” and many more.
  • 1960 – Pruitt Taylor Vince, has appeared in “13 Sins”, “True Blood (TV Series)”, “The Walking Dead (TV Series)”, “Creature”, “Drive Angry”, “Constantine”, “The X-Files (TV Series)”, “Jacob’s Ladder”, “Angel Heart” and more.
  • 1948 – William Hootkins, was a wonderful character actor who appeared in “The Breed”, “Aaahh!!! Real Monsters (TV Series)”, “The Island of Dr. Moreau”, “Death Machine”, “Dust Devil”, “Hardware”, “Batman”, “Raiders of the Lost Ark”, “Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope” and many more.
  • 1945 – The late Marilyn Burns who was the only survivor of “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre” and who also appeared in the films “Future Kill” and “Helter Skelter.” She made a brief appearance in “Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation.” She was the patient on the gurney.
  • 1938 – Tetsuo Kinjo was the head writer for the “Ultraman” and “Ultra 7″ TV series.
  • 1928 – Warren Oates who appeared in the films “Race With the Devil,” “Badlands” and in episodes of “The Twilight Zone” and “Thriller.”
  • 1912 – Richard M. Rubins who was property master for such films as “Attack of the 50 Foot Women,” “Attack of the Giant Leeches” and “The Pit and the Pendulum.”
  • 1904 – Milburn Stone who appeared in “The Mad Ghoul,” “Weird Woman” and “Invaders From Mars.”

DIED ON THIS DAY IN HORROR HISTORY

  • 2007 – Kerwin Mathews, who starred in the films “The 7th Voyage of Sinbad,” “Jack The Giant Killer” and “The Boy Who Cried Werewolf,” passed away at the age of 81.
  • 1987 – Alan Gibson, director of such films as “The Best of All Time Horror Classics (Video documentary)”, “Tales of the Unexpected (TV Series)”, “Hammer House of Horror (TV Series)”, “The Satanic Rites of Dracula”, “Dracula A.D. 1972”, “Journey to the Unknown (TV Series)” and others. He died at 49.
  • 1969 – Lambert Hillyer who directed the 1943 “Batman” serial and the films “Dracula’s Daughter” and “The Invisible Ray,” passed away at the age of 79.
  • 1948 – Carole Landis who appeared in the 1940 version of “One Million B.C.,” passed away by her own hand at the age of 29.
