Congratulations, ladies!

The 2016 Emmy Award Nominees were announced early this morning and two of our favorite ladies were nominated.

Sarah Paulson and Kathy Bates both received nominations in the “Best Supporting Actress in a Limited Series or Movie” category for their work on “American Horror Story: Hotel.” If you’re not too familiar with the actresses (I mean, if you live under a rock), they played the roles of Iris and Hypodermic Sally on the previous season which aired from October 2015 to January 2016 on FX.

This is Paulson’s third Emmy Nomination for the show since she joined the cast in 2011. This is also Kathy Bates’ third Emmy Nomination for the show since she joined in 2013, having even taken home the big win in 2014.

In other news, Tatiana Maslany was nominated for “Best Lead Actress in a Drama” for “Orphan Black” and Bruce Campbell and “Ash vs. Evil Dead” were snubbed despite an expansive campaign.
