One man can’t survive on just one sleazy flick at a time can he? After I recently watched Vinegar Syndromes’ release of Star Virgin I decided it was time to check out another Vin Syn release. A few years ago they sent over the sexploitation/vintage pornPretty Peaches on bluray. The film was released in 1978 and starred Desiree Cousteau in one of her most memorable roles.
When I received the film I was later told that Vin Syn would be releasing the Pretty Peaches trilogy on blu. I thought it would be counter-productive to review just this film when I would be reviewing the entire trilogy later so I put it off until I could get my grubby little hands on that set. Sadly, that set did not come out until well over a year later but when it did I was grateful that my friends over at Vin Syn sent it my way.
**Spoiler Alert**The film follows Peaches (Cousteau) who is traveling to her father’s wedding. She meets her new step-mother and the two try to be friends but eventually Peaches hates all the attention her new mother is receiving from her father and leaves in a hurry. She has an accident and is ejected from her jeep. Two men find her and discover she was knocked out by the collision.
Before she wakes one of the them decides to fuck her a little. She awakens and has no memory of who she is or how she got there. She lie to her and tell her that the jeep is theirs and then take her back to their place to stay. They convince her to get a job so she can pay their bills while she works and finds herself in random sexual encounters until one day she finds herself at an orgy blowing her dad before all her memories come back to her.**Spoiler Alert**
I’m going to be completely honest and admit that I was curious to check this one out. I had actually heard about this film before it was sent my way from Vin Syn. I was a member of several horror forums for years before social media and I had heard a couple mention how much they enjoyed it. I looked it up a few times and shied away from it when I saw Cousteau. I was just not into her look. She was pretty but not in a way that I like my women. However, after actually seeing the film I have to say that the film’s artwork does not do her justice.
The acting in this one is far, and I mean far, from perfect but the cast is still fun to watch. Cousteau is great at playing the cute and innocent character that is very naive when it comes to sex. She was brilliant at this and does a great job. With that being said, this little gimmick gets old very quickly. The remainder of the cast is a little hard to watch and are clearly there for the sex and not the acting.
The story for this one is all over the place. It flows and feels just like a comedy. There is scenes full of dry humor and gags and the set up feels like it has a big punch line that is never delivered. We then get weird doctors giving enemas, sex craved men, lusty women, and wild orgies. The story really is more than your normal porn flick.
Finally, those of you looking for action will not find it here unless the action you are looking for is sex. The film is full of it. However, if you want some humor then you will find some spread throughout. Overall, Pretty Peaches is a surprisingly sleazy good time. Desiree Cousteau is great and carries the film all the way until the happy ending. If you want a raunchy good time then be sure to check this one out!

July may have ended but I still have several films I watched last month that I still need to finish my reviews for. It wouldn’t be a no horror month if I didn’t watch something sleazy and raunchy. I recently watched and reviewed the sexploitation flick Pretty Peaches. It was a surprisingly well told story that had dry scenes broken up with sex. The film was sent to me from Vinegar Syndrome on blu in a set with two other films.
Both were sequels to this 70s vintage porn. The first sequel, part 2, was released almost 10 years later and would feature an entirely different cast. The film may have a different cast but it still delivered on the entertainment and was just as good as the first one. I want to thank Vin Syn for sending this one my way.
**Spoiler Alert**The film follows the young Peaches (Hunter) who lives with her ridiculously hot mother (Adams). Peaches thinks her mother is a little tight and refuses to ask her about sex even though her mother just secretly raped her boyfriend. She sets out on a journey to find sexual enlightenment.
She visits her former stepfather who tells her to visit her uncle (Jeremy) who is know for his sexual exploits. She leaves where she hitches a ride with a trucker and learns a thing a two about prostitutes before arriving where she is soon followed by her mother and step father who have a sexual awakening of their own.**Spoiler Alert**
The first film was fun but did have it’s down falls. However, I knew the sequel would be up to my speed considering how much I love 80s film and culture. Pretty Peaches 2 was just the film I was hoping for and then some. I also found true love in the form of Tracey Adams. Wow, smoking.
The acting in this one is a little better than the first and better than most sexploitation and vintage porn flicks that I review but far from the best. Hunter was great as the innocent Peaches. She was sexy, smart, and cute all wrapped up into one. She was great and really brought a new dimension to the Peaches character we first saw in the original film. This was my introductory to the lovely Tracey Adams. I usually don’t look at older films like this and think the women are attractive but she knocked my socks off and her acting left much to be desired. With that being said, Ron Jeremy stole the show. His character was tons of fun and really made the film even funnier. He delivered one hell of a performances…and money shot (pun intended).
The story for this one is fun and continues with what was established in the first film. We follow Peaches who lives with her mother and wants to explore her body and those around her. This is a simple yet effective story that quickly gets to the sex. What makes this one so fun is how many wonderful characters we get like the man in drag and Ron’s character. If the humor was missing then the film would have been a bomb.
Finally, those of you looking for action will not be happy but if you want some laughs and sex then this film is perfect for you! Overall, Pretty Peaches 2 is a pretty entertaining sleazy romp through the 80s with some humor, beautiful women, and some colorful characters. I recommend this one even more than the first. Check it out.
Pretty Peaches 3: The Quest

It’s somewhat rare that I get to check out a sequel to a sexploitation flick. They are usually just a one trick pony that later falls into obscurity. The films usually offer up some weak story, some flat characters, and lots of sex. More or less, they are porn with a plot. With that being said, I recently started the Pretty Peaches trilogy.
The first film was dirty fun. It had a decent story but the acting was horrible. The film’s sequel, released almost ten years later, was a great 80s filled sex tale that had some memorable characters and gorgeous women. I had high hopes for the third film in the series which was released 2 years later but it was a huge let down. This one was sent my way from Vinegar Syndrome in a bluray set. Thanks again Vin Syn for hooking me up.
**Spoiler Alert**The film follows Peaches (Keisha) who lives with her mother (Adams) in the trailer park. She has a wet dream one night and awakens with lust in her eyes. She wants to learn everything she can about sex and spiritual enlightenment. She sees a televangilist and sets out to meet him. After she leaves her mother and boyfriend tries to find her but ends up hooking up. Peaches reaches her destination and meets the preacher only to realize that her wants her young snatch.**Spoiler Alert**
Sequels tend to be cash grabs. I’m always up for a sequel but most of the time they tend to be quick flicks that have little sustenance and usually made quickly to cash in on the hype of the previous film before the people forget about it. Pretty Peaches 3suffered the same fate as most sequels in the past.
The acting in this one is what you would expect from a film that was half-assed. The cast shows no dedication or heart and just spits out their lines from scene to scene until they could suck some cock. This was a huge let down considering it also starred my newest crush, Tracey Adams. It was clear that fucking was while they were hired and not acting.
The story for this one is more or less the same as Pretty Peaches 2. The film follows Peaches who lives with her mother, Tracey Adams, and leaves home to go on a sexual awakening. This is almost the same exact story as part two. What were they thinking when they started production on this one. There is so many scenarios I could think of to put Peaches in to make this one stand out from the others. This was clearly another quick way to make a buck.
Finally, those of you looking for action or humor will be very disappointed. The film has a dry story and flat characters that leaves a one dimensional film. Overall, Pretty Peaches 3: The Quest is not a very original or entertaining film. The story is nearly identical as the second film and offers up very little for the fan of sleazy cinema.
