Comics Creator Lia Scott Price Publishes Vampire Guardian Angels Issue 6
August 12, 2016 – Comic book creator and writer Lia Scott Price has just released Issue 6,“Immortal’s Reliquary,” of her Vampire Guardian Angels comic book series.
This issue is also Price’s debut as a first-time comic book artist. The interior pages were drawn by Price. “I’ve always wanted to draw my own characters, so I took a year of drawing lessons and decided to draw this issue and future issues as well,” says Price. “But I still had two amazing artists to help me with the inking and the cover.”
Issue 6 is inked by artist Andrew Huerta, who also drew and inked the cover art. The colorist for Issue 6’s cover is Chad Hammontree.
Vampire Guardian Angels is a creator-owned, independent and original horror-action comic book series with a fresh twist to vampires who are featured in an unexpected form: as Guardian Angels who have become new breed of vampire and serial killer who hunt down humans who pray to them.
“Do you really know who you are summoning for help? Could be one of my Vampire Guardian Angels,” says Price. “They’re hungry, rebellious, bloody and vicious. Don’t pray to them!”
Price also appears as a vampire character in the series, and will be signing Issue 6 at Stan Lee’s Comikaze Expo 2016. Issue 6 also features cameos by Los Angeles metal band Madrost, and black metal bands Arachnigod and Highland.
