I think everyone can relate to the plot of this short film.
Raise your hand… or body lotion… if you’ve ever been in the shower and had the notion that something was going on behind the other side of the curtain, like a masked killer waiting for you or just a general burglar ready to stab you in the chest. I had that happen to me a number of times when I was way younger, except I’d never turn the water off. I’d keep it on to remain as nonchalant as possible while I formulated a plan to take on my non-existent attacker.
The Crying Shower was written, directed and edited by Steve Doss. He also created original music for the 3 and a half minute short film. I highly recommend this short film for its cool visual style, interesting angles and a surprise ending, if not to also laugh at our own foolishness! Unfortunately, the character in the shower doesn’t have quite the humorous finale as some of us have. Check it out below!
