  • 1980 – The late Ben Woolf, was a diminutive actor who appeared in “Tales of Halloween”, “American Horror Story (TV Series)”, “Haunting Charles Manson”, “Dead Kansas”, “Unlucky Charms”, “Insidious” and more.
  • 1977 – Tom Hardy, who appeared in the films “Inception” and “Star Trek: Nemesis”, “The Dark Knight Rises”.  He is slated to play the new “Mad Max.”
  • 1976 – Jonathan Liebesman, director of such films as “Darkness Falls”, “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning”, “Battle Los Angeles” and “Wrath of the Titans”.
  • 1964 – Steven R. Monroe, directed the films “Sasquatch Mountain”, “Left in Darkness”, “Ogre”, “I Spit on Your Grave” remake, “I Spit on Your Grave 2”.
  • 1946 – Tommy Lee Jones who played “Agent K” in “Men In Black 1, 2 and 3” and “Harvey Dent” a.k.a. “Two Face” in “Batman Forever”, “Eyes of Laura Mars”, “Natural Born Killers” and “Captain America: The First Avenger”.
  • 1946 – Oliver Stone. Besides his high profile big budget films, he directed “Seizure” and “The Hand.”
  • 1928 – Henry Silva who played “Kane” in the “Buck Rogers in the 25th century” TV series and appeared in the films “Thirst,” “Alligator” and “Possessed By the Night.”
  • 1922 – Jackie Cooper who played “Perry White” in the “Superman” film series and appeared in the film “Chosen Survivors.”
  • 1907 – Fay Wray, the very first scream queen who appeared in “Doctor X”, “The Vampire Bat”, “Mystery of the Wax Museum” and of course “King Kong”.
  • 1904 – Tom Conway, who appeared in “The Atomic Submarine,” “The She Creature,” and “Voodoo Woman.”
  • 1903 – Yoshio Kosugi who appeared in “Frankenstein Conquers the World,” “Ghidrah, the Three Headed Monster” and “Mothra.”
  • 1890 – The great mystery novelist Agatha Christie, who has sold over one billion books. The only author to outsell her was William Shakespeare and the only book to have outsold her novels is the Bible.

  • 2011 – Frances Bay, appeared in “Nomads”, “Alien Nation (TV Series)”, “Tales from the Crypt (TV Series)”, “Arachnophobia”, “The Pit and the Pendulum”, “Grave Secrets: The Legacy of Hilltop Drive (TV Movie)”, “In the Mouth of Madness”, “The X-Files” and many more.
  • 2005 – Johnny Ramone, who played in the band “The Ramones.” Their music has been used in the films “Pet Sematary” (for which they wrote the theme), “Final Destination 3″ and ” House of 1000 Corpses,” passed away at the age of 55.
  • 1996 – Tom Payne who appeared in the film “Curucu, Beast Of The Amazon,” passed away at the age of 81.
  • 1991 – John Hoyt who appeared in the “Planet of the Apes” TV series and the film “Flesh Gordon,” passed away at the age of 85.
  • 1987 – Harry Holcombe who appeared in the films “Empire of the Ants,” “The Psychic Killer” and played “Dr. Arnold Johnson” in the American version of “King Kong vs. Godzilla,” passed away at the age of 80.
