Two of my favorite women in science fiction are starring in a new psychological thriller titled Zer0 Tolerance. Currently in the midst of production in Minnesota, Zer0 Tolerance is set to star Clare Kramer and Yancy Butler, of “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” and “Witchblade” fame, respectively. Of course, Kramer also starred in Bring It On and After Dark’s The Gravedancers and Butler gave her talents to “As the World Turns” and Lake Placid: The Final Chapter. These women are supremely talented and I can’t wait to see the power performances they deliver in this upcoming feature from Joseph Forsberg.
The film will follow a small family as they deal with the emotional aftermath of loss when one of their own comments suicide after years of relentless bullying. School officials fail to ban the tormentors from their grounds and the authorities refuse to prosecute the assailants and it seems like the senseless death will have happened in vain. That appears to be the case until the family decides to take justice and vengeance into their own hands, though the inner and mental strains put upon them open up deeper wounds than they ever could have expected. What is a life worth? Who are the real victims? Who else needs to die until society learns its lesson?
