Brooke Shields Brings A Little Lovin to “Scream Queens.”

It was recently announced that film and television darling Brooke Shields will guest star on an episode of FOX’s struggling horror-comedy series “Scream Queens.” A 5-time People’s Choice Winner and 2-time Golden Globe Nominee, Shields is perhaps most known for her co-starring role in The Blue Lagoon. She was also the star of her own television shows “Suddenly Susan” from 1996 to 2000 and “Lipstick Jungle” from 2008 to 2009, and held recurring roles on “Army Wives,” “Nip/Tuck” and “That 70’s Show.”

Sources are confirming that Brooke Shields will appear in the December 6 episode, 2.08 – “Rapunzel, Rapunzel.” She will play the character of Dr. Scarlett Lovin, a television doctor that has a distinct homage to real world’s Dr. Oz. Scarlett is also the idol of The Chanels, the former mean girls on campus turned C.U.R.E. Hospital staff members. These facts alone put Scarlett on the chopping block as season two has killed off pretty much any guest star-er who dropped in for the insanity on this Ryan Murphy show.

Although I would love to see a three-way cat fight between Shields, Jamie Lee Curtis and Kirstie Alley!

Other guest stars this season have included “Saturday Nigh Live” alumnis Cecily Strong and Cheri Oteri, and teen idol and “Arrow” and “Teen Wolf” star Colton Haynes.

This appearance on “Scream Queens” marks only the fourth time in Shield’s career that she’ll be dropping into the world of horror, despite a four decade resume in Hollywood. Her previous horror related engagements include co-starring in Freaked (1993) and The Midnight Meat Train (2008) as well as another guest spot in an episode of “Tales from the Crypt” in 1993.

“Scream Queens” continues its second season run on FOX, Tuesdays at 9:00PM.
