Tamara Glynn to Star in Supernatural-Horror Film ‘The Possessed.’

Shawn Anthony, CEO of Harvest Moon Motion Pictures, has written, produced and directed several horror movies in the past five years. Some of his previous projects include The American Werewolf Project and Blood Loss, and now he’s going to send his career into hyper-drive as the film-maker behind the upcoming supernatural-horror film The Possessed. Armed with a large budget and the passion to make something great, Shawn is busy assembling the cast and crew of The Possessed, which is slated to roll camera later this year. One such cast member, Tamara Glynn, was recently announced and cult movie fans are thrilled.

Tamara Glynn is one of our favorite people here at HorrorSociety.com. After a string of guest appearances in television shows in the late 80’s, Tamara booked the supporting role of Samantha Thomas in Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers. This role cemented her place in horror film history, but it was one of the last large roles she tackled before taking a hiatus from Hollywood to raise her children and fur-babies. Luckily, she returned to the limelight in 2015 by co-starring in Patrick Rea’s award winning short film Howl of a Good Time. By landing a role in The Possessed, Tamara continues to prove that she’s still a force in the world of blood and gore.

Glynn also runs an annual film festival, The Hot Springs Horror Film Festival, and is a frequent guest on radio shows and podcasts.

Other cast members starring in Shawn Anthony’s The Possessed include Jessica Felice (The Witch of Blackwood), John Wells (The Penny Dreadful Picture Show), Billy Blair (Machete, Jonah Hex), Tyler Lueck (The Devil’s Dozen) and Alex Ruiz as well as genre icons Bonnie Aarons (The Conjuring 2), Lisa Wilcox (Nightmare on Elm Street 4 & 5), Ricco Ross (Aliens, Wishmaster) and Jason Lively (Night of the Creeps).

The feature film will follow Ruby Blackwood (Felice), a private detective who holds a dark secret – she is a human vessel for a demon that dwells within her. When armies of darkness and the undead begin attacking New Orleans, Ruby decides to embrace and unleash Lilith so she can fight back against the rising death toll. As the battle wages on, Ruby disappears more and more and Lilith begins taking control, turning her into something she was sworn to fight. Hell will be raised as this epic battle of good and evil takes place in The Big Easy.

Looking forward to this one later this year!
