Prepare to Get Hammered with Johnnard Harper’s Sledge.

You have to strike while the iron is hot, right?

Filmmaker Johnnard Harper has officially announced pre-production of his third feature film, Sledge, by means of a teaser poster release. A simple banner that reads “He’s Coming Home,” the art work pictured to the left bares some resemblance to the Hatchet posters; which is perfect considering Sledge is going to be a slasher film.

While only half a page of script has been spotted, probably to grab attention due to the content, Sledge has already given away some key elements to the story through pre-production notices that make it sound interesting. Any use of the words “interrogation room,” “cabin” and “hospital” during location scouting means horror fans are in for a roller-coaster ride!

Currently Johnnard Harper is fine-tuning the script while looking for producers and investors. The only cast and crew I can confirm at this moment is Denisha R. Hardeman, who worked on Harper’s last flick, Captured. Though I can’t state what her job will be at this point, I can only assume she’ll be acting and helping Harper behind the scenes.

With Captured due for release later this year and Sledge on the block next, it looks like it’s going to be quite the year for the Texas native. Good luck, Johnnard! I’ll make sure to keep horror fans up to date on this title as it progresses.
