FILM MEDIA TO RESTORE LOST SARNO MOVIE WARM NIGHTS AND HOT PLEASURES

35mm Print Expands Sarno Archive and Joseph W. Sarno Retrospect Series

Film preservation organization Film Media announced today it has begun restoration on a 35mm print of Joseph W. Sarno’s “lost” 1964 film WARM NIGHTS AND HOT PLEASURES. Once restored, HD assets for WARM NIGHTS AND HOT PLEASURES will be scheduled for theatrical screenings, DVD / Blu-Ray and Digital release as part of the Joseph W. Sarno Retrospect Series under the Film Movement Classics label. The upcoming release marks the first-time WARM NIGHTS AND HOT PLEASURES will be available to home entertainment since its initial theatrical run.

The 35mm print of WARM NIGHTS AND HOT PLEASURES was recently discovered in the vaults of Audubon Films, owned by pioneering filmmaker Radley Metzger, who had purchased and distributed the film to theaters in North America. Film Media would like to thank film historian Michael Bowen and director Scooter McCrae for their role in the acquisition.
