OFFICE UPRISING FINDS SALES IN CANNES
Los Angeles, CA/ Cannes, France, May 17, 2017: Brian O’Shea, The Exchange CEO, announced today that horror action spoof OFFICE UPRISING found distribution in France to AB Droits Audiovisuels; Latin America to Swen Group International; Russia to Volga; Middle East to Selim Ramia, China to DDDream International Media and Thailand to SahaMongkol. “The combination of the commercial concept, high production value and the established stars is allowing us to make aggressive pre-sales of this genre bending movie,” said O’Shea from The Exchange.
The Exchange is selling OFFICE UPRISING at the 2017 Cannes Marché. Office Uprising is helmed by Lin Oeding who recently completed production on the film.
OFFICE UPRISING stars Brenton Thwaites (PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: DEAD MEN TELL NO TALES), Jane Levy (DON’T BREATHE), Karan Soni (DEADPOOL), Zachary Levy (TANGLED) and Alan Ritchson (HUNGER GAMES, Spike TV’s Blue Mountain State) Prior to OFFICE, Lin Oeding helmed BRAVEN, starring Jason Momoa which is due in theaters fall of 2017. Lin’s action design and stunt credits include ANT-MAN, THE EQUALIZER, STRAIGHT OUTTA COMPTON and INCEPTION.
Written by Ian Shorr (SPLINTER) and Peter Gamble Robinson, it’s the story of an underachiever working at a major weapons manufacturing firm who finds that his co-workers have been “weaponized” by a new energy drink designed for the military. He must then set off to rescue his one true love from an office building full of psychotic coworkers armed with tomorrow’s deadliest tech. Producers are Giulia Prenna, Jim Steele, Sean Lydiard and Will Clevinger.
