Troma’s first VR experience Heart of Fartness: Toxie’s Toxic Twin Trauma

Toxie has a major midlife crisis and must travel to a mythical land called the “Heart of Fartness”, deep in the Panamanian jungle, in order to regain his place as the first Super-Human-Hero from New Jersey!

Inspired by Francis Ford Coppola’s classic documentary, “Apocalypse Now” and Joseph Conrad’s “Heart of Darkness,” Troma Entertainment’s first VR experience, “Heart of Fartness: Toxie’s Toxic Twin Trauma,” is a visionary 15 minute VR movie. Shot on location in Panama, New York, New Jersey, and the San Blas Islands.

“Have you ever seen a Troma film? If ‘yes’ then you know that Troma is synonymous with truly gonzo and, some might say, inspiring, head crushing, blood gushing, boob popping, mash-up’s of horror, sci-fi and schlock comedy. If you’ve never seen a Troma film you’ve for sure seen some of Troma’s influences, like Troma protégée James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy, Trey Parker and Matt Stone’s South Park, or Quinton Tarantino’s Grindhouse.  Either way, you’re in for a treat on June 29th, when we premiere Troma’s first virtual reality film experience.” stated Lisbeth Kaufman, co-founder of KitSplit.

Included in this 15 minute Tromasterpiece of Virtual Reality is music from Nigerian artist BJ Sam. Sam’s song, “Mon Amour” was personally selected by Lloyd Kaufman and can be heard here: Mon Amour (Official Music Video)
