“FAILING GRACE” IS OFFICIALLY IN PRODUCTION

Concept Media formally announced that they have achieved their need budget for Failing Grace, the new suspense/thriller film by Ryan Stacy (Midsummer Nightmares, Ladies Night). The film is locked & shooting commenced this past Thursday (June 22, 2017).

The film stars Josh Miller (Nothing Good Ever Happens). Marylee Osborne (Primordial), Stacy Freeders (Midsummer Nightmares), Adam Atherton (The Wicked One), and Austin Tarantino (Scream for Summer). Failing Grace will also feature the film debuts of: Sarah Curtis, Caroline Vineyard, and Audery Lane. Indie film veteran Marc Jeffrey Schetter (The Funhouse Massacre) and horror author JJ Philips have also signed on to make appearances in the film. Tarantino and Vineyard are represented by Diane Werner at Loft Talent, LLC. in Harrison, Ohio.

Don’t F**k in the Woods star Brittany Blanton joined the cast on Saturday (June 24, 2017). She is taking over the role of Cara, the titular character’s best friend. This is Ms. Blanton’s seventh collaboration with Concept Media; her most recent being her directorial debut with the short film Breaking Vera, last fall.

“GRACE” is the first feature length film from Ryan Stacy since 2014’s Midsummer Nightmares II. This twisted tale of obsession harkens back to the thrillers of the early-mid 90’s (Fear, Fatal Attraction) but with an updated, modern edge. The major leg of the shoot will take place in southwestern Ohio beginning July 13.

Official Synopsis: “Maggie Novak (Curtis) is living the quietest life imaginable. She lives with her younger sister, Grace (Vineyard), and they keep to themselves. Maggie strives to ensure that Jack Elligott (Miller) never finds them, should he return from his watery grave. Jack, Maggie’s ex-boyfriend, became dangerously obsessed with young Gracie. He was so far gone into his madness that he killed their parents and tried to murder Maggie… but she survived, Jack didn’t.  Or so she thought. Now five years later, Jack’s back and he’s got the girls right where he wants them.”

The project is executive produced by Chris Gierowski, JJ Philips, & Jerry Roth. Actress Marylee Osborne also now serves as a producer. Their INDIEGOGO campaign is still open, running until July 5; any financial contributions from this point will further cushion the production’s budget.
