M.L. Miller Launches New Grindhouse Horror Comic Series ‘Gravetrancers.’

M.L. Miller – the mastermind behind Jungle Book, Pirouette, and movie reviews at Aint It Cool News – is gearing up for another crazy, creepy and glorious comic book miniseries with Gravetrancers. Described as a grindhouse horror throwback with visuals never before seen in comic books, Gravetrancers will be a four part series from Black Mask Studios featuring bright and freaky art from James Michael Whynot with coloring by Dee Cunniff and lettering by Jim Campbell.

“Maribel and Anthony are in search of the grave of their dead father, not knowing that they are stumbling into a graveyard owned by an eccentric clan of grave-robbers who’ve devised a highly-addictive drug made from human remains–and the fresher the corpse, the stronger the dose. What started out as an attempt to reconnect with the past becomes a descent into a psychedelic, neon-colored nightmare—will Maribel and Anthony find their way through the hallucinogens or will they become the next hit?”

Issue #1 of Graveatrancers is releasing on September 27th 2017. Previews and pre-orders are available here. And if you’re super excited about this upcoming horror comic series, visit the Gravetrancers team at Comic Coon on Friday, July 21st from 5-6PM in Room 23ABC. Look for the Black Mask booth or the “Reinventing Horror in Comics & Films” panel!
