On Friday, December 1 2017, horror film-maker Johnnard Harper announced his next project, a short film titled Don’t Text Back. While plot details are currently being kept under wraps, the name alone leads me to believe the plot will follow Harper’s style of mixing horror with modern technology. Since this recipe has been so successful in the past, I can’t wait to see what he has in store for horror fans in Don’t Text Back.
Johnnard will direct the short film, based on the script he wrote with Anthony Leone. Don’t Text Back will star Denisha Hardeman and Kyle Lee, who previously starred in the director’s feature, Captured. Captured is completed and reaching for an early 2018 release.
