MGI Films Is Developing A Sequel to Killer Doll Flick ‘Anna.’

When one door closes, another one opens. The same thing can be said for opportunities, and when you’re doing something you love – making horror movies – it’s never too early to move on to your next proect. MGI Films recently completed Lake Fear 3 and submitted it to their distributor, ITN. Without missing a beat, the company, owned and operated by Michael and Gerald Crum, has already started developing a new horror film; a sequel to last year’s devil doll movie – Anna. There’s no rest for the wicked.

It was unofficially announced on social media this morning that Michael and Gerald Crum are aiming to bring Anna 2 to life later this year. Released last Fall by ITN in America and by New Horizon Films overseas, Anna saw two amateur film-makers steal a haunted doll from a paranormal museum in hopes of recording its ghostly activity and uploading it online to prove that spirits exist. However, the plan changes when Anna invites a world of Hell into their lives in more ways than one. The film received mixed reviews from critics, but I actually quite liked it.

Directed by Michael Crum and produced by Gerald Crum, the horror-comedy stars Gerald Crum, Justin Duncan, Shanon Snedden, Rebekah Lynn Bruflodt, Kristin Cochell, Brian Finn and Alan Gunter. Peep the trailer for Anna below, then “like” MGI Films on Facebook for all future updates on Anna 2. https://www.facebook.com/mgifilms/.
