Clowns are creepy. Dolls are creepy. When you put them together, you get something inherently unnerving.
Recently, YouTuber and short film director Nathan Duce purchased ‘Clarissa The Clown’ from a charity auction because of its bargain price and because it stood out to him. Upon bringing the doll home, Nathan’s wife wasn’t pleased with its presence in their house and banished the doll to the garage. I don’t blame her for that. Nathan’s plans of using ‘Clarissa The Clown’ in a short film were dashed when, again, his wife forbid the doll from entering the house.
Now, this is where it gets weird. Aside from his wife’s disdain for the doll, nothing was out of the ordinary…until ‘Clarissa The Clown’ started playing It’s A Small World on its own, alone in the garage. Nathan decided then that he would become a fledgling paranormal investigator and live stream his interaction with the doll. His findings are compiled in a video provided at the bottom of this post.
I was originally questioning why the doll danced to its song for far longer than normal…but then, something else happened.
