Gas Station Horror Returns to the Peoples Improv Theater This Saturday with Special Guest Karen Summerton.

(We have a real bonifide Scream Queen joining us!)

Gas Station Horror, New York’s longest-running horror comedy show, returns for another round of clips, candy, and comedy. This time they’re tackling the most bizarre scenes from slasher darling Hospital Massacre (AKA X-Ray), the recent Netflix hit Slasher: Guilty Party, as well as the classic, Fright Night.

Gas Station Horror plays minute-long clips from nine different, unique horror movies and when the clip fades out, some of NY’s most talented comedians take the stage to finish the scene in new and hilarious ways. Audience members are also treated to horror theme remixes, silly horror trivia, free candy, and a chance to win copies of the films used in the show.

It all takes place at the Peoples Improv Theater (123 East 24th St.) on Saturday, September 8th at 10:30PM. Buy your tickets, here: https://thepit-nyc.com/events/gsh/.

Special Guest: Karen Summerton is no stranger to horror films, having been in Camp Hope, Haunted Cabin: Die-Fi, Wes Craven’s My Soul to Take, and just finished shooting Boo-yah! Karen has two monthly shows at The Peoples Improv Theater. Catch her in The Magical World of Musical Improv, where your childhood classics meet musical improv; and Super Crazy Fun Time Variety Game Show Hour, a wacky interactive game show straight from a fever dream. She’s been in commercials, TV and reality shows, movies, and several web sketches; and has written pilots and features for ABC, Disney XD, and Lifetime. Karen’s favorite scary movie is Urban Legends: Final Cut. Be sure to visit https://www.KarenSummerton.com.
