Sawyer is an upcoming Texas Chainsaw Massacre fan film written and directed by Brandon Tobatto, releasing on YouTube on September 28th! Tobatto recently saw critical acclaim with his Scream fan film, Ghostface, and he is hoping to have even more success with his next short film.
Described as a direct sequel to the original 1974 masterpiece Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Sawyer will disregard all sequels, prequels and remakes, and it will follow an original story from the mind of Tobatto. What’s cool about this is we, as horror fans, have never seen an elderly incarnation of our favorite villains. This will certainly be a first.
What other surprises will Sawyer have to offer? Well, you’ll just have to wait and see.
