Alex J. Murphy Announces Fruit Bat III, The New Entry in A Vegetarian Vampire Web-Series.

This Web-Series About a Vegetarian Vampire Welcomes Some New Blood and a New Poster

Javahead Productions is adding another chapter to its ghoulishly hilarious web-series that goes right for the jugular. Fruit Bat III is the latest installment in the award-winning web-series about a vegetarian vampire.

Directed and written by Alex J. Murphy, the series follows the misadventures of Eugene, a vegetarian vampire and outspoken advocate for “human-vampire relations”. His carnivorous brother Lenny constantly tries to keep Eugene’s taboo diet under wraps, often causing some ‘bat blood’ between the two. It doesn’t take long before tempers rise, guts spill, and craziness ensues. The film’s script was also recently awarded Best Comedy Screenplay by the New York Film Awards.

Actors David J. Marzano and Peter Coleman will return to reprise their roles as the squabbling vampire siblings. The actors turned brothers have been the recipients of “Best Duo” in the Actor Awards, Los Angeles for their work in Fruit Bat II.

Joining the cast are Alexandra Landau and Stephanie Windland as Veronica and Olivia, respectively. Landau (“Dark Tarot”) returns to the East Coast following principal photography of Ugly Cupcake Entertainment’s upcoming ‘micro-budget Italo-western-influenced romantic indie dark comedy’ feature, Danni and the Vampire, while Windland is in the midst of launching the web-series “P’s in A Pod”, of which she stars in.

Production for Fruit Bat III is expected to begin before the end of the Fall and will be released later this year digitally, free to stream on Youtube and Vimeo. For more information, visit http:/www.facebook.com/javaheadproductions.
