Before I dig into the new Friday the 13th box set from Scream Factory I wanted to watch and review some other Friday the 13th flicks. I decided to start with a few fan films I’ve collected over the years plus a new one that recently premiered on YouTube. Some were fun while others were tough to finish.
After that I decided to venture into the realm of porn. I watched two late 80s Friday the 13th titled fuck flicks that had nothing to do with the slasher series. However, before I move on to the new blu set I still have one more porn. This time I take a look at 2010’s Official Friday the 13th Parody.
**Spoiler Alert** The film follows a group of horny twenty-somethings who venture to Camp Crystal Lake which is the home of a nudist camp. While everyone is getting to know each other in the carnal sense, Jason is lurking around every corner picking them off one by one. **Spoiler Alert**
I went into this one hoping that it would be a more traditional porn parody with the classic slasher franchise in mind. It was for the most part but those segments for Friday the 13th were few and far in between. I’ve seen other films like Evil Head and Texas Vibrator Massacre where they were able to deliver a legitimate porn film while parodying the film that it was influenced by. This failed to do so.
The acting in this one is horrible. The cast was clearly there for the fucking and that’s what they did the best. No attempting to get into character which resulting in very long and dull scenes. The story for this one is a typical porn with random scenes scattered throughout. Honestly, it feels like they went one direction with the film and then once it was said and done they decided to go back and insert some scenes to make it feel like more a Friday the 13th parody.
Finally, the film doesn’t really have death scenes but if you want to see a rotten dick then this film is for you! Overall, Official Friday the 13th Parody is an even bigger waste of time than the other two fuck flicks that share the same name. The thought of this one having Jason stalk porn stars really had me excited but the film is nothing like I imagined. Skip it.
