Jordan Phipps named lead actress of A & P’s upcoming 80’s aerobics thriller, “Murdercise”!
Rising actress and indie horror film star, Jordan Phipps, best known for her work in Richard Stringhams “Close Calls”, will play the lead in Paul Ragsdale and Angelica De Alba’s new film, Murdercise.
Synopsis – Phoebe is an obsessed fitness nerd who gets her big break working on a sleazy workout video. When the cover girl, Candy, goes missing, Phoebe seeks help from a mafia princess, Isabella, who teaches Phoebe how to kill her way to the top.
From director Paul Ragsdale,
“I’m a huge fan of Stringham’s film, “Close Calls” and we’ve wanted to work with Jordan Phipps ever since it watched it on Blu-ray. I sent her a script and thankfully she really liked it! She told me that since she loves to work out in her real life, it would only make sense for her to be in a horror/exercise film! And we couldn’t agree more! We think she’s the perfect choice to play the lead role of PHOEBE- a positive and enthusiastic fitness girl, with a deadly mean streak.”
The Murdercise indiegogo campaign launches this summer!
Big fan of Jordan Phipps, a real star on the rise. Every movie I have seen her in is better because of her. A list talent, no doubt.
