In a short video posted today, Felissa Rose has just announced a sequel to the 2021 camp slasher Bloody Summer Camp. Felissa played camp director Michelle Crowell in the first film and will be reprising her role in the sequel.
The first film followed a group of camp counselors as they prepared the camp for the new summer. One by one they’re picked off by a killer wearing a devil mask known as “Devilface”. Bloody Summer Camp was released in 2021 through Gravitas Ventures and featured Felissa Rose and Dave Sheridan.
Bloody Summer Camp 2: Red Horizon takes place 8 years after the first film in 1994. Camp Trustfall is being reopened under new ownership for the first time since it was shut down after the murders in the first film. Some familiar faces along with some new faces will be at camp when it reopens as Camp Red Horizon.
Bloody Summer Camp 2 will be directed by David Kerr and is expected to begin filming in fall of 2024. Check out the Felissa Rose announcement video below.
