Wicked Weave Productions, LLC announces the launch of an Indiegogo campaign that goes live on March 4, 2024 to raise funding for its feature film, WICKED WEAVE. The film is an urban, revenge, horror about a young lady who is killed by her ex-boyfriend and returns to inhabit the hair of another young woman leading her to enact revenge on her ex-boyfriend.
The film is a throwback to the B-movie, killer/horror films of the past but with an urban contemporary twist. “I wanted to pay homage to the old, Hollywood killer/chiller movies but without the campiness.” Says first-time feature director, Lena Dee Claybon who is also the Writer.
“In order to raise our budget for production, we’re asking for support from the horror film community.”
Perks available to supporters range from digital downloads of the movie poster, script and film (once completed) to “Producer” credits, cameo appearances in the film and even `a day on the set’ with the cast and crew! Contributors will also receive updates from behind-the-scenes that include photos, bloopers, cast and crew hijinks and all the craziness that goes on during the production of a film.
“We want it to be a fun experience for all involved and our supporters are just as much a part of the family as cast and crew.” Says Claybon.
