It’s with great sadness that sources including Bloody Disgusting are reporting that Friday the 13th actress Lar Park Lincoln passed away on Tuesday, April 22, at age 63. Lincoln is most known for playing everyone’s favorite telekinetic final girl in Friday the 13th: The New Blood, which opened at #1 in May 1998.

A comment on Bloody Disgusting‘s article reads: “It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Lar Park Lincoln. For over her 45-year career, Lar left an unforgettable mark on Hollywood through her dynamic performances and dedication to mentoring aspiring actors.”
An official cause of death has not been released at this time.
After playing guest roles in a number of television shows and having a long character arc in Knots Landing, Lincoln found her big break with Friday the 13th: The New Blood. But that wasn’t her first horror film. That recognition goes to House II: The Second Story in 1987.
While Lar continued to act, coach and partake in other endeavors, she eventually found her way back to the horror genre at the end of the 2000s as seen with From the Dark, Gravestoned, Sky Sharks, Autumn Road and Ghost Party. She even reprised her role as Tina in Rose Blood: A Friday the 13th Fan Film.
She currently has three projects awaiting release.
The Friday the 13th fandom is such a devoted group, so I know they’re taking this loss very hard. Sending love and light to Lar, her family, her friends and her fans.
