‘The Field’ Wraps Principal Photography, Releases First Look Images

The Field has officially wrapped and is now in post-production.

Directed by Thomas Rhymer (The Russian White) and shot by Thomas Fleming, The Field stars Katie Lyons (Hideout, Iron Dusk), Audrey Kovár (Hideout, Radio Caesium), Bryan Enright (The Block, Hideout), and Joseph Scarpino (No One’s Laughing) with additional principal performances by Tre Carlies, Glenn Wilson and Mike C. Walls.

The Field is slated for a near future release in the film festival and horror movie convention circuit.

Filmed in Pennsylvania, The Field takes place in the late 90’s, early 2000’s: following four young adults as they plan their weekend getaway to visit a secluded boulder field to witness an eclipse. Their weekend is cut short when they are targeted by a killer whose motives remain
unknown.

The Field plays homage to movies such as Mandy, Stand By Me and House of the Devil. The Field’s original soundtrack is atmospheric and gloomy with music by Soft Siren, The Russian White, The Number H, Solemn Shapes and many more artists to be announced.

The Field was produced by Lizz Villa (The Number H), Thomas Rhymer, Bryan Enright, Thomas Fleming, Jonathan Flaa, Joe Holt, Daniel McCullough, Christopher Sands, Harold Fleming, Constant Hackney and Jeremy Sumrall with special FX by Stacy Lynn (Amityville Barbie) and sound by David Sowden.
