Evil doesn’t stay dead. Universal is inviting fans to step into the terrifying world of Jason Voorhees at Halloween Horror Nights, which begins tomorrow, August 29 at Universal Orlando Resort and Thursday, September 4 at Universal Studios Hollywood.
From his sinister shack in the woods to the summer camp where it all began, the horrifying experience pays homage to the machete-wielding slasher through a haunted house that re-awakens the legend to terrify old and new fans alike.
Horror, Inc. Executive Vice President Robbie Barsamian:
“Commemorating 45 years of terror, this year’s Halloween Horror Nights brings one of horror’s most iconic slashers to life in a way that’s both immersive and relentlessly intense. In collaboration with Universal Studios, we crafted a blood-soaked experience that pays tribute to the legacy of Camp Crystal Lake, while introducing a new generation to the enduring fear of Jason. Get ready because Jason is back and looking for revenge.”
Jason Universe and Universal have teamed up to deliver some of the most scares per square foot of any Horror Nights experience ever, taking fans on a journey through the original 1980s films with recreations of their favorite kills and characters from the Friday the 13th franchise.
