Magnolia Pictures announced today their acquisition of the devilishly fun and twisted, Scream and Cry Horror Movie Review, for their Magnolia Selects and Monsters & Nightmares streaming platforms. The first 8 episodes of the series will be available to stream on both platforms 9/25
Scream and Cry Horror Movie Review follows a goth girl, Scream (Mimi Torres), and a possessed puppet rat, Cry (voiced by E.G. Daily) as they battle demons and review horror movies in their chamber basement. The campy horror-comedy review show chronicles the devilish stories of both Scream and Cry while discussing the very best in horror from the Magnolia Pictures catalog alongside a revolving cast of characters including Juliet Landau, Thom Pinto, Bill Prokopow and Donte Paris.
The films being reviewed in the first season include Agnes, Alone, Amulet, Censor, Held, Kiss of the Damned, Severance, Splinter, The Canyon, The Sacrament, Tucker and Dale Vs. Evil and V/H/S: Viral.
