GG Magree Unveils Short Horror Film as Precursor to Album Out Next Week

Magree conceived, wrote, co-directed and starred in the film, which tells a gruesome tale of an exotic dancer who seduces and preys on her strip club patrons to satisfy her taste for human flesh.

Without any dialogue, the short piece is a psychological thriller — leaving the audience with more questions about her than answers.

About both the film and the album, Magree said, “The world can be a dark place and the people you surround yourself with really outline who you become as a person…I slipped into relationships that mirrored that same violence, emotional, physical, spiritual abuse that left me hollow. And while I was trying to crawl out of that darkness, the world around me had the audacity to tell me to quiet down.” She continues, “Love yourself — hard. And let the world choke on it.”

Magree previously starred in the unscripted film “Dead Hot: Season of the Witch,” where she and co-star Vanessa Hudgens set out to learn about witchcraft and connecting with the spirit world in Salem.
