MUM, I’M ALIEN PREGNANT, the debut feature from New Zealand filmmaking duo THUNDERLIPS, which will have its world premiere at the 2026 Sundance Film Festival in the Midnight section.
Expanded from the short Help, I’m Alien Pregnant, the film is a comedy body horror that blends lived experience with outrageous imagination. Equal parts funny, frightening, and emotional, it follows a messy millennial underachiever who becomes accidentally alien pregnant and must contend with skeptical doctors, a useless baby daddy, and her relentlessly oversharing mum.
The film stars Hannah Lynch, Yvette Parsons, Arlo Green, and Jackie van Beek. More information can be found below, and we’d love to connect about any Sundance preview coverage or reviews you may be planning.
